All Richards chassis are manufactured in the UK, using locally sourced materials and locally based machine shops. They are located close to the steel city, Sheffield, and therefore optimise the use of local steel, ensuring that all their chassis are formed from 2.5mm British steel which are all galvanised as standard.

The Marsland chassis manufactured by GKN Wheels & Structures, supplied with an insurance accepted GKN Certificate of Authenticity confirming the chassis are constructed using the same materials, processes and quality control techniques as were stipulated at the time of original equipment manufacturer.
